If he is with Jesus, he is with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of the Jews or Christian God, from the Christian Bible, our god, and therefore with us, the 'twins of God'.
Jesus teaches us how to increase our connection with God through his life: we must enter in contact with our suffering as well as our love and hate as well as all our other feelings and awarenesses and reflect about those to deepest, mostly conversing with God and asking Him to englighten us, so that we extract teachings or wisdom from those, thus words that may have an effect on the heart and soul of others to help them purify their hearts and cleanse their souls as well as increase their faith in God. Jesus is the way: we learn from his life and his body. In fact, he told us to believe we are physically eating his flesh and drinking his blood as we remember his coming.
Some tribes eat the heart of their enemies, so that they absorb their strengh: we eat Jesus' flesh and drink his blood to see if his essence goes to our biology. We can even think of improving our DNA through such an absorption...
